As per they claimed, 5 years champion in ramen. Walked past this store while looking for lunch in Orchard Central and chanced upon this restaurant. Went in and try. The ramen will take awhile to arrive after you ordered. However it’s worth the wait. The broth is tasty, noodles cooked to al dente, the chashu is very Japanese local standard, texture and doneness is cooked to the point. What’s best is you can order extra toppings and they do not place the extra topping directly onto your bowl, instead it’s served in separate bowl, so to avoid overcrowding your bowl. Nice touch. Highly recommended.

Good ramen 🍜. The broth is flavourful and thick, very garlicky and satisfying. The noodles are cooked how you like it (you can specify hard/ normal/ soft). The fried gyoza is especially good. There wasn't a queue on Sunday when I came and it was pretty easy to get a seat. Is it the best ramen I've ever had? Probably not. Will you be happy after eating here? Yes 😁 Saw quite a few japanese expats having lunch here too so that's always a good sign.

This ramen does not disappoint even after multiple visits! The north is rich and flavorful, firm and springy ramen noodles and a mountain of sliced spring onions which makes the dish what it is! The takowasabi was really nice too. Would recommend getting the small chashu rice bowl as it also pairs well with the ramen! Greta service and atmosphere!

Nantsuttei. Not for the faint of heart. Well, it's good for them if they do come though, the heartily thick miso broth (or shio, for the dainty eaters), with golden curry, dragon and spicy tomato flavored specialty ramen for the more adventurous souls, combined with 3 levels of noodle done-ness for selection... It's hard to NOT be happy after the carbs + black garlic oil goodness, mixed into the oh-so-sweet umami of the broth. The well lit counter dining, a laid back ambience for the contemporary ramen dining. The heavy durable seats having served many years of satisfied visitors. Come when your spirits need lifting up, or for a celebration. Bring your friends. Or not. Then I won't need to queue. 🤪 Truly ramen that's fit for champions.

Good place to get ramen - even though it’s on the 7th floor of OC, there were many people there even at 11.30am! My partner had the golden curry ramen which he enjoyed (reminds me of the Kazan Curry ramen but not as thick). I had the Natsuttei Tonkotsu ramen and it was flavourful. Gyoza was alright - good crisp on the bottom. But the Chicken Karaage with Wasabi Mayo was really good!! The waitress on duty was a little aloof but the chefs were nice and friendly so that made up for it.

After all these years, the ramen here is still one of the best in Singapore. The pork broth is so rich and flavourful. The garlic oil adds more zest to the already rich soup. The Japan size is just right for a meal and at a very reasonable price.

Very flavourful broth, the curry ramen had a nice spicy kick to it. If the spice isn’t enough there’s chilli oil and chilli powder to add to your bowl. The pork was tender and perfectly cooked and for the ramen itself we chose soft and it was really nicely cooked. The beer was 1 for 1 because it was happy hour. It was quite crowded as we were there on a Friday evening but we didn’t have to wait for a table.

Ordered Miso soup base with garlic oil, level 2 spiciness ramen and Pork soup base with garlic oil ramen. Both soup base were very fragrant, flavorful. Surprising beansprouts do not have that bean taste but rather crunchy texture. 2 different bowl size, regular or japan size (bigger). The pan-fried gyoza very soft skin and marinated meat not overpowering in taste. Affordable lunch option in the heart of orchard road. Recommended. Will visit again.
